For whatever reason my animations never work. In the process of creating the animation the original text symbols (in Vietnamese) appear to get jumbled. To make the animations work I have to click the animation link and then edit the route, and copy and paste the addresses provided. Examination of the Animation URLs will show that the addresses are initially entered correctly, but somehow is jumbled. I also can not get the animations to include the actual street view even though all three routes have street view available along nearly all of the route.

Animation 1: Hai Phong to Hoanh Bao District

4 Moore's Where to Invade Next

Armon White's review of Michael Moore's documentary "Where to invade next" is valid in my eyes in a few respects. One critique that I agree with is that Moore does not examine the reasons for the differences between the US and the countries he visited. The reasons for disparities in crime, in gun laws, and drug laws among other things were not delved into in Moore's film. Moore merely would find a policy he liked in another country and shame the US for not doing the same. While I agree with that point that White made, I feel the rest of the article failed to give any other valid points and mostly consisted of ad hominem attacks, of which White was ironically also criticizing Moore of. Moore's film is a great example of the value of travel in revealing truths about our own country. For example, the comparison between the food French schoolkids eat compared to what the public-school kids are served here in the country is very eye opening. Travel is a great way to learn that things could be done in a different way.
